Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the coworking space "Quinta Flamingos," operated by Joana Casaca Lemos, with registered office at 35B Rua Reserva Natural Serra da Malcata, Corroios, 2855-641, Portugal. By becoming a member of Quinta Flamingos, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership and Subscription

1. All membership plans are offered on a subscription-only basis.
2. Payments for subscriptions are due monthly and must be paid in full by the first day of the subscription period.
3. Members may upgrade or downgrade their membership plan at any time, subject to a 30-day notice period and availability.
4. Members must provide 30 days' notice to cancel their membership. Cancellation requests must be made in writing (via email or letter) and acknowledged by Quinta Flamingos management.
5. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise specified in these Terms.

2. Use of Quinta Flamingos Space

1. Members may use the coworking space during operating hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The space is closed on weekends and public holidays unless otherwise communicated.
2. External guests are not permitted to enter Quinta Flamingos without prior approval from Joana Casaca Lemos. Requests for guest access must be made in advance.
3. Pets are not allowed in Quinta Flamingos, unless advanced permission is granted by Joana Casaca Lemos.
4. Members are responsible for keeping the space tidy and respecting the shared environment, including all equipment and facilities.
5. Any damage to the space or its property by members or their guests must be reported immediately and may result in liability for repair or replacement costs.

3. Facilities and Amenities

1. Members have access to community events organized by Quinta Flamingos. Some events are free for members, while others may require payment at discounted rates. Event details and rates will be clearly communicated in advance.
2. Members are entitled to use the sauna during the specified hours posted on the Quinta Flamingos notice board.
3. Members may also use the tennis court during operating hours, subject to availability.
4. Members, or their registered guests, can book the suites with a 15% discount as per the advertised prices.

4. Member Conduct

1. Members must maintain a respectful and professional atmosphere at all times, ensuring that their actions do not disrupt the work of others.
2. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum in shared areas. Members are encouraged to use designated quiet zones for phone calls and meetings where available.
3. Any member who engages in inappropriate or disruptive behavior may have their membership terminated without notice.

5. Legal Compliance

1. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Members agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using Quinta Flamingos' facilities.
2. In the event of any dispute related to these Terms, the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
3. Quinta Flamingos reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members via email and will take effect 30 days after the notification is issued.

6. Liability

1. Quinta Flamingos will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained by members while using the facilities, unless caused by the negligence of Quinta Flamingos or its representatives.
2. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests and any individuals under their supervision comply with these Terms.
3. Quinta Flamingos reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for breaches of these Terms without liability for any loss of membership or subscription fees.

By becoming a member of Quinta Flamingos, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them at all times.
